SikaCeram®-930 TT1 Admix

Multipurpose latex additive for mortars

SikaCeram®-930 TT1 Admix is intended to mix with SikaCeram® cementitious tile adhesive to produce mortar which produces excellent adhesion strength for fixing ceramic tiles on wall and floor.

Usage

SikaCeram®-930 TT1 Admix is exclusively formulated for use in conjuction with SikaCeram® cementitious tile adhesive, in replacement of water for the following applications:
  • Tiling to areas / substrates subjected to limited movement
  • Tiling to building boards
  • Tiling to RC / ALC
  • Tiling to wet areas

Application steps

SUBSTRATE QUALITY

All surfaces must be structurally sound, clean, free of dust, grease oil, curing compounds and any foreign materials which will inhibit proper bonding. Concrete should have a surface texture similar to a light broom finish.

MIXING

Pour SikaCeram®-930 TT1 Admix into a clean pail. Do not dilute SikaCeram®-930 TT1 Admix with water. Then add SikaCeram® cementitious tile adhesive while slowly mixing. Mix thoroughly for a minimum of 3 minutes. Leave material to stand in container (for approx. 3–5 minutes). Then, remix the material for another 15 seconds, the product is now ready for use. A forced action mixer or drill with mixing paddle (< 500 rpm) shall be used for mixing.  A normal free fall concrete mixer is not suitable for mixing

 

CLEANING OF TOOLS

SikaCeram®-930 TT1 Admix and tools can be cleaned with water while the admix is still wet.
