Usage

Davco® TT1 Admix is exclusively formulated for use in conjuction with Davco CTF 99 cement tile adhesive. Davco® TT1 Admix is used with cement-based adhesive, in replacement of water for the following applications:
  • External tiling
  • Tiling to areas / substrates subjected to limited movement
  • Tiling to building boards
  • Tiling to RC / ALC
  • Tiling to wet-duty areas
  • Heavy traffic areas

Shelf life

12 months from date of production

Storage conditions

Store properly in original, unopened and undamaged packaging in cool and dry conditions. Protect from direct sunlight.

Application steps

MIXING

Pour Davco® TT1 Admix into a clean pail. Do not dilute Davco® TT1 Admix with water. Then add Davco CTF 99 tile adhesive while slowly mixing. Mix thoroughly for a minimum of 3 minutes. Leave material to stand in container (for approx. 3–5 minutes). Then, remix the material for another 15 seconds - the product is now ready for use. A forced action mixer or drill with mixing paddle (< 500 rpm) shall be used for mixing.  A normal free fall concrete mixer is not suitable for mixing.

 

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT

Davco® TT1 Admix and tools can be cleaned with water while the admix is still wet.
