SikaProof®-612

Pre-applied fully bonded waterproofing membrane for basement and foundations

SikaProof®-612 is a fully bonded, pre-applied sheet membrane waterproofing system for basement and foundation structures. It is two-layer composite membrane combined with existing single sheet layer (TPO polymer layer) and functional layer. SikaProof®-612 creates a mechanical bond to concrete, which prevent any lateral water migration.

Usage

SikaProof®-612 may only be used by experienced professionals. Waterproofing, damp-proofing and concrete protection for basements against ground water ingress. Suitable for use on:
  • Reinforced concrete base slabs
  • Extension and reconstruction works

SikaProof®-612 standard rolls are wrapped individually in a knitted plastic bag.

Storage Conditions

Product must be stored in original unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions and temperatures between +5 °C and +35 °C, in a horizontal position.

Do not stack pallets of the rolls on top of each other, or under pallets of any other materials during transport or storage. Do not stack rolls more than 5 layers.

Always refer to packaging.

SUBSTRATE QUALITY

SikaProof®-612 membrane must be applied on a sufficiently stable, well compacted (blinding layer) substrate to avoid movement during the construction works. Substrate surface must be smooth, uniform and clean. Substrate can be damp, slightly wet or ponding water must be avoided.
