Terms & Conditions
1. Team Registration
The Sika Tiler Competition will be conducted in teams of two (2) tilers. Participants are encouraged to register as a team of two (2) tilers.
2. Attendance Confirmation
Successful participants will be contacted between *15 October and 30 October 2026* to confirm their attendance at the competition. Participants who are unable to confirm their attendance within the stipulated period may forfeit their place, and Sika reserves the right to offer the place to another participant.
3. Registration Fee
Registration for the Sika Tiler Competition is *free of charge*. No registration fee is required.
4. Eligibility
The competition is open to:
- Malaysian citizens; and
- Foreign nationals holding valid work permits or other valid documentation allowing them to work legally in Malaysia.
5. Competition Participation
Participants must attend the competition at the designated venue, date and time communicated by Sika. Participants are required to comply with the competition rules, safety requirements and instructions provided by Sika and the competition organisers.
6. Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the winning team(s) based on the competition results and judging criteria determined by Sika. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
7. Disqualification
Sika reserves the right to disqualify any participant or team if they are found to have breached the competition rules, provided false or misleading information, engaged in misconduct, or failed to comply with the safety requirements or instructions of the competition organisers.
8. Sika’s Decision
All decisions made by Sika Malaysia in relation to the competition, including participant selection, judging, results, prize allocation and disqualification, shall be final and binding. No correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
9. Changes to the Competition
Sika reserves the right to amend, postpone, suspend or cancel the competition, or revise any of its arrangements, rules or prizes, where necessary. Participants will be informed of any significant changes where applicable.
10. Personal Data & Photography
By participating in the competition, participants agree that Sika may collect and use their personal information for purposes related to the competition. Participants may also be photographed or recorded during the event, and Sika may use such photographs and recordings for its marketing and communication purposes.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for the Sika Tiler Competition, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
