Establish standardized logistics policies, operating procedures, and governance models for country teams across
transportation, warehousing, customs, trade compliance etc.
• Lead regional transportation management. Design and manage the regional transportation network (FTL, LTL,
parcel, intermodal, ocean freight etc.).
• Set performance standards, KPIs, and operational frameworks for country-level warehouses, including layout
efficiency, throughput targets, inventory accuracy, and cost per unit handled etc. Lead regional distribution center
project.
• Manage customs & trade compliance regionally. Define regional customs clearance protocols, duty optimization
strategies, and trade compliance guidelines. Coordinate with country teams to ensure adherence to import/export
regulations, free trade agreements, and tariff classifications.
• Lead regional ocean freight tendering & carrier management. Own the regional ocean freight procurement cycle,
including routine tenders, carrier negotiation, contract management. Drive rate benchmarking, capacity allocation,
and carrier performance reviews across the region.
• Drive commercial/operational logistics efficiency (cost optimization). Identify and execute cost reduction
opportunities across freight, warehousing, drayage, and ancillary logistics services.
• Lead logistics digitalization (TMS, WMS, automation). Charter the deployment of Transportation Management
Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and related technologies (e.g., yard/dock
management, RFID, robotic process automation, track& trace). Drive system adoption, data integration, and
analytics capabilities across country teams.
• Coordinate cross-country logistics performance & escalation management. Monitor regional logistics dashboards,
identify underperforming countries or lanes, and lead improvement initiatives. Act as the escalation point for major
logistics disruptions (port delays, customs holds, capacity crunches) requiring regional coordination.
• Build logistics capability in country teams. Assess maturity gaps in country-level logistics execution. Deploy
training, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and performance playbooks to elevate local teams' ability to
manage transportation, warehousing, customs, and DC operations independently and effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, engineering or related field. Advanced degree or certification in
supply chain is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management. 4+ years in a regional or multi-country logistics
governance role.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
• Fluent in English; additional APAC languages are advantageous.

• Willingness to travel within the APAC region as required
